Stone Table Books is a new an imprint of Morning Star Publishing, based in Melbourne, Australia. Stone Table Books specialises in fantasy books for all ages.

The imprint’s name is a reference to the stone table in C.S. Lewis’ The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. The image on our logo is of the broken stone table, which symbolised Aslan’s return from death and defeat of the White Witch in Lewis’ novel. The stone table from the Narnia books is one of the most recognised images from twentieth century fantasy. It also represents a willingness within fantasy writing to engage with deeper metaphysical and even spiritual themes.

Our publication list for 2017 will include a mixture of established fantasy writers, new authors and classic fantasy reprints. We are very excited by the quality and diverse range of books that will be appearing in the coming months.
